Impact sockets - standard articles and custom-made products
In industry, rotary and impact wrenches are used. Here, hand tools often reach their load limits. For this reason, power inserts are often used that are specially designed for high torques and a high impact load. In order to meet this requirement, the impact sockets from CARL WALTER are made of high-quality chrome vanadium steel and are phosphated. Note: The appropriate locking rings and locking pins must be used to secure the connection. Based on our many years of experience, we offer our impact sockets as standard articles or as custom-made products according to special requirements.

Standard impact sockets assortment for every application
Manufactured in accordance with DIN 3129 / ISO 2725 and for square drives in accordance with DIN 3121 / ISO 1174, the impact sockets are suitable for external hexagon, external TX and internal hexagon screws as standard. Our range offers drives up to 3 1/2 inch and wrench sizes over 180 mm.
Individual impact sockets for special requirements
Our special force inserts, manufactured according to customer requirements, enable the tightening of bolted connections with high torques. Since standard products often reach their limits (space or force problem), we design and manufacture individual solutions (force inserts) for the corresponding bolting case.

Our solution:
To prevent the screw head from folding down, it was fixed in place.
A pressure spring and the cardan joint ensure that the head can always be positioned in the same way.

By fulfilling the customer's requirements, the customer can now efficiently process both screw connections with one to.

To meet the customer's requirements, we designed a combination insert for tightening a hex bolt. A spring-loaded and adjustable inner part of the insert also allows a screw with a customer-specific profile to be tightened.

Impact sockets (socket wrench)
The phosphated impact sockets are made of high-quality chrome vanadium steel and are available in 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 3/4", 1", 1 1/2", 2 1/2" or 3 1/2" depending on the version (standard or long). The impact sockets cover wrench widths from 6 mm to 180 mm. In addition to the Kraft sockets for external hex screws, the range also includes inserts for external TX screws.

The impact sockets for hexagon socket screws are made of high quality chrome vanadium steel. The surface is then finished with an impact-resistant phosphate coating. The drives of the inserts are available with 1/2", 3/4", 1" and 1 1/2".
