High-quality VDE tools for industry and trade
In many work areas, live working is part of the daily tasks. The use of specially developed VDE tools is mandatory in these work applications in order to meet the corresponding safety requirements. EN 60900 specifies both the electronic and mechanical properties of the tools as well as the corresponding methods for testing and marking. All VDE-insulated screwdriving tools from CARL WALTER are manufactured and tested according to EN/IEC 60900 for live working up to 1000 V. The high safety requirements of our VDE-insulated screwdriving tools are met by a double plastic insulation. Thereby the inner part of the handle cover is shown with the color yellow and the outer handle cover with the color red. As soon as there is damage to the red insulation layer, this becomes visible through the yellow color of the inner handle sleeve.

VDE pliers and cutters
Our VDE pliers allow safe work on electrical installations under voltage up to 1000 V according to EN / IEC 60900. For a particularly high quality, a drop-forged and oil-hardened special tool steel is used. The VDE pliers are also matt chrome-plated. Due to the 2-component handles with soft, non-slip grip zone, the VDE pliers enable highly ergonomic working. Furthermore, these VDE tools are characterized by the inductively hardened precision cutting edges.

VDE screwdrivers
The production and testing of VDE screwdrivers is carried out according to EN / IEC 60900 for work under voltage up to 1000 V. Within the scope of the VDE torque screwdriver production, the high-quality design with blades made of molybdenum-vanadium steel or chrome-vanadium steel as well as with the black tip and red overmolded insulation should be particularly emphasized. To make working with the VDE screwdrivers as comfortable as possible, ergonomically shaped, impact-resistant handles with a hanging hole are used.

VDE-Torque wrench Torquik E
The VDE torque wrenches are particularly suitable for precise and controlled screw tightening, which occurs when working under voltage of up to 1000 V. The Torquick E VDE torque wrench in particular is characterized not only by its ergonomically shaped handle but also by its ease of handling. In addition, this VDE tool enables precise screwdriving work in the range from 2 Nmm to 220 Nmm.

The VDE socket wrench and operating tools are provided with a 2-color multi-layer insulation (yellow inside - red outside) and tested according to EN / IEC 60900 for work under voltage up to 1000 V.
